Today, after a few short hours in China, Julan became our little girl. A short bus ride and they delivered the babies one by one to each in our group.Julan fell right into our arms without so much as a peep. She is very attentive to every detail, and I have the impression that Jolene and I are the ones being sized up. A bit more paperwork and the evening consists of getting to know one another. Without the distractions of the other babies, she is a bit more unsettled at the moment. We feel confident that she'll come to understand we're here to stay!
